First (Fruit) Rant

My mobile phone browser defaults to Yahoo news before going to another site.  I’m annoyed by health claim articles listing x # of items one should eat, particularly ones with over a dozen suggestions!

Two of the most important factors these news updates often forget:

  1. Quantity: Should we eat 2 oranges a day (sometimes I do) or 300 blueberries in one sitting?
  2. Quality:  Do I eat a GMO apple or a local and organic bananas?

I can’t wait for the day when ever fruit is classified as a SUPERfruit.
